These rules are disclosed to clarify the various responsibilities of all community members here on CyberD3m0n. They shall be adhered to by everyone to ensure that our board runs smoothly and provides a fun and productive experience for all of our community members and visitors.
-
General Conduct
- Treat all members with courtesy. Harassment, hate speech, bullying, or discrimination will result in immediate action. #
- Criticize ideas, not people. Flaming or insulting others will not be tolerated. #
- Toxic behavior, trolling, or intentionally trying to provoke others is not allowed. We're building a positive community. #
- Moderators and admins are here to help. Arguing with staff in public threads will be met with consequences. #
-
Posting Guidelines
- Each forum section has a purpose. Keep your posts relevant to the section you're posting in. #
- Posting irrelevant content, advertisements, or repeating the same post across threads will result in a warning or ban. #
- Make your thread titles descriptive so others know what to expect. Avoid clickbait or all caps. #
- Give others a chance to respond. Excessive bumping clutters the forum and is considered spam. #
-
Content Guidelines
- Do not post or link to pirated content, hacks, cheats, or adult material. This includes suggestive or graphic images. #
- Advertising channels, products, or services is only allowed with moderator permission. #
- Do not post content you don’t have the right to share, including mods, images, or copyrighted material. #
- Memes and jokes are welcome in appropriate sections—but offensive, insensitive, or excessive content will be removed. #
-
Privacy & Security
- Do not post personal information like your full name, address, phone number, or passwords. #
- No doxxing, no screenshots of private messages without consent, and no sharing of real-world identities. #
- Users are allowed one active account unless otherwise approved by staff. Sockpuppeting will lead to bans. #
- Keep your login details private. You're still responsible if someone else uses your account and breaks the rules. #
-
Reporting & Moderation
- If you see a rule violation, report it. Don’t engage in public arguments—let staff handle it. #
- Telling others what the rules are or acting like a mod in threads is not helpful and may result in a warning. #
- You may privately appeal a decision, but do not argue with staff in public. Repeated violations will result in escalating consequences. #
- Rules may evolve. It’s your responsibility to check for updates. #
-
Community Culture
- Encourage each other, especially new players. Share tips, guides, and positive feedback. #
- Gamers come from all walks of life. Be mindful of different cultures, identities, and backgrounds. #
- Critique is fine—when it's helpful. Avoid negativity for the sake of it. #
- This is a space to share the love of gaming. Don’t take yourself too seriously and enjoy the journey! #
-
Support & Feedback Forum Guidelines
-
Only One Post Per Person Per Support Reason
- Create exactly one topic for each distinct issue or suggestion. #
- Do not open multiple topics for the same problem. #
- Duplicate requests will be closed or merged without notice. #
- If you have new details about your issue, update your original topic instead of starting a new one. #
- For unrelated issues, open separate topics. #
